COMMUNITY
Round Rock Drums is more than just lessons – we have a lot of fun playing everywhere!

Our Drum Coach plans events that incorporate the use of interesting objects at many locations. We perform on fields, courts, stages, sidewalks, parking lots, cafeterias, lawns, stadiums, amphitheaters – we’ll play anywhere our drums can fit.
Our students here at Round Rock Drums volunteer at Rhythm Workshops’ FREE “I Can Drum” program - and we were featured on KEYE 42 (CBS Austin) on Friday, May 31st.

FREE DRUMS FOR KIDS AT TBCH
We here at Rhythm Workshops (501C3 nonprofit) are so very excited to continue doing good things here in the community alongside our Round Rock Police Department as we teamed up once again, and this time donated a full drum kit to the kids at our (TBCH) Texas Baptist Children’s Home!
The Recreation Director at TBCH (Susan Kinney) was onsite to accept the drums from “Commander Jim” (RRPD) and “Mr Ed” (Artistic Director at Rhythm Workshops).
And the best part was watching one of the kids getting behind the kit and PLAYING!!! :)
This young man already knew how to play some beats, but learned a bit more as “Commander Jim” demonstrated some of his percussive expertise.
Rhythm Workshops’ FREE “I Can Drum” program has partnered with RRPD to be part of an ongoing interactive drum program for the kids at TBCH.
Our mission is to empower at-risk kids using the magic of music.
